Çankaya University English Preparatory School offers students writing and speaking centers. Attendance to the centers is obtained via an appointment. Students can make appointments for extra writing and speaking sessions with language instructors.
About
- The center aims to provide students with resources and services to support their writing skills and academic success. The center offers functions and services such as individualized writing assistance and feedback and revision assistance in one-to-one sessions with language instructors in 20-minute-time slots.
- In the writing center, students can get help from language instructors to organize a paper, correct recurring errors, edit and/or proofread a paper. Also, the instructors can direct students to other resources for assistance.
- These services are available to all preparatory school students, regardless of their writing skill levels.
- The students can make one weekly appointment and hold only one spot at a time. The number of appointments one student can make at most is limited to four per month.
- The students meet the instructors face-to-face in Çankaya University C Block Z16.
- In case students need to cancel their appointments, they can cancel at any time right up until the scheduled session.
- If students do not show up within 5 minutes of the appointment, they will be marked as a NO-SHOW.
- If students fail to show up for several appointments, their future appointments may be canceled.
