Çankaya University English Preparatory School offers students writing and speaking centers. Attendance to the centers is obtained via an appointment. Students can make appointments for extra writing and speaking sessions with language instructors.
About
- The speaking center aims to help students develop their communication skills by providing support to improve pronunciation, fluency, and overall speaking proficiency. The center offers individualized coaching with one-to-one sessions, presentation assistance to help students prepare & deliver presentations in class or academic settings, and group communication by helping students work together in team projects, discussions, or meetings.
- The students can opt to make a one-to-one appointment for 20 minutes to organize a presentation and get feedback on an outline, or alternatively they can make a group appointment for up to 4 students and practice a group discussion.
- These services are available to all preparatory school students, regardless of their speaking skill levels.
- The students can make one weekly appointment and hold only one spot at a time. The number of appointments one student can make at most is limited to four per month.
- The students meet the instructors face-to-face in Çankaya University C Block Z16.
- In case students need to cancel their appointments, they can cancel at any time right up until the scheduled session.
- If students do not show up within 5 minutes of the appointment, they will be marked as no-show.
- If students fail to show up for several appointments, their future appointments may be canceled.
