The English Proficiency Exam Announcement (15-16 September 2025)

Dear students,

 

  • The English Proficiency Exam will be held on 15-16 September 2025 at the English Preparatory Unit. This exam is open to students in all levels who were enrolled in the 2023-2024 academic year, students who enrolled in the 2024–2025 academic year, successfully completed the B2/B2+ levels, but failed the Proficiency Exams held in June or August and the students enrolled in the 2025-2026 academic year.

 

  • The English Proficiency Exam program is as follows:
    • 15 September 2025 Monday – Face-to-Face (10:15-12:30 / 135 minutes)
      • Listening (25 pts.)
      • Reading (30 pts.)
      • Use of Language (10 pts.)
      • Writing (20 pts.)
      • The list of the students and exam rooms will be added to this announcement by 12 September 2025, 17:00 (cups.cankaya.edu.tr).
        • All the exam rooms are in the Main Campus buildings.

 

    • 16 September 2025 Tuesday – Face-to-Face (starting from 10:00- 7 minutes for each student)
      • Speaking (15 pts.)
      • The list of the students and exam rooms will be added to this announcement by 12 September 2025, 17:00 (cups.cankaya.edu.tr).
        • All the exam rooms are in the Main Campus, the Department of Foreign Languages building.

 

  • The students are kindly requested to pay attention to the details below.
    • The students will be present in the designated exam room at 09:45 at the latest on 15 September 2025 Monday.
    • The students must have their pencils, erasers, and pens for the exam.
    • The students must present their Çankaya University ID cards and TC identity cards (or passports for international students) to be able to attend the exam.
    • The student ID cards of our students registered for the 2025–2026 academic year have been prepared by the Registrar’s Office. Starting from Monday, September 15, at 9:15 a.m., students who have not yet received their ID cards must collect them from the Registrar’s Office.
    • The students must be present 10 minutes before the allocated period at the latest on 16 September 2025 Tuesday.
    • The students must present their Çankaya University ID cards and TC identity cards (or passports for international students) to be able to attend the exam.
