
Department of Foreign Languages English Preparatory Program Launches DEDAK Accreditation Process
The English Preparatory Unit of the Department of Foreign Languages at our University has officially joined the accreditation process conducted by the The Association for Language Education, Evaluation and Accreditation (DEDAK). The application was submitted on 25 February 2025 with the aim of certifying the quality of the program’s educational activities in accordance with national quality standards. DEDAK is an accreditation body authorized by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) through its Quality Assessment Registration Certificate.
Following the application, the English Preparatory Unit has initiated comprehensive efforts in line with the criteria established by DEDAK, including self-evaluation, quality assurance, curriculum development, and continuous improvement. Activities related to the accreditation process are being carried out systematically and according to plan.
The DEDAK accreditation process aims to evaluate and enhance the quality of foreign language preparatory and language education programs while certifying their compliance with national quality standards. The process is expected to be completed by the end of the Spring Semester of the 2026–2027 Academic Year.
