LEVEL-BASED LANGUAGE PROGRAM

BEGINNER – A1 (Prep 110)

At the Beginner level, students work toward building a basic foundation in all language skills. They learn to understand short, simple written texts (e.g., brief emails, messages, and notices) that contain familiar topics, high-frequency vocabulary, and straightforward structures. In listening, they can follow clearly articulated speech on everyday subjects and identify key points and essential details.
Students begin to communicate using simple, connected sentences to talk about personal information, daily routines, likes/dislikes, immediate needs, and familiar experiences. They can take part in very short social exchanges when the other person speaks slowly and clearly.
In writing, they can produce short, linked sentences on everyday themes (e.g., routines, preferences, simple plans, and past events) with growing control of basic grammar and spelling.

ELEMENTARY – A2 (Prep 111)

At the Elementary level, students expand their ability to understand and communicate about familiar areas of daily life. They can read and understand straightforward texts on topics such as daily routines, work, and study, identifying main ideas and key details. In listening, they can follow clear, standard speech and short talks on predictable subjects, recognizing the essential points.
Students can sustain brief interactions on familiar topics, express simple opinions, and explain past or future events in a clear, connected way. In writing, they can produce short, organized paragraphs using basic connectors (e.g., so, however, because) to express opinions, feelings, simple arguments and narrations.

INTERMEDIATE – B1 (Prep 112)

At the Intermediate level, students develop greater independence as users of English. They can understand and identify the main ideas and selected details in a variety of authentic texts on familiar and semi-abstract topics, including short academic, opinion, and online materials. In listening, they can follow extended speech and discussions, identify attitudes and opinions, and recognize key arguments.
Students participate actively in routine and semi-formal conversations, express viewpoints clearly, and support their ideas with explanations or examples. In writing, they produce coherent paragraphs that demonstrate effective use of cohesive devices, appropriate tone, and control of grammar and paragraph structure.

UPPER-INTERMEDIATE – B2 (Prep 113) / B2+ (Prep 114)

At the Upper-intermediate level, students refine their ability to process and produce language for academic and professional purposes. They can understand and critically evaluate a wide range of authentic texts, identifying argumentation, implied meaning, and perspective. In listening, they can follow extended speech, lectures, and media content on complex issues and take usable, structured notes to identify the main ideas and details.
Students are able to interact fluently and appropriately in social and academic contexts, present and defend viewpoints with clear reasoning, and respond confidently to others. In writing, they produce clear, well-organized, and detailed multi-paragraph texts for various purposes, showing confident control of grammar, vocabulary, and discourse markers.
