Spring Term Proficiency Exam – June 4 – 5

Dear Students,

 

  • On June 4 – 5, 2026, an English Proficiency Exam will be held for students who have successfully completed the B2 and B2+ levels at the English Preparatory Unit. All exam rooms are located in the Foreign Languages Department building on the Main Campus.

 

  • The Proficiency Exam Schedule is as follows.

o June 4, 2026 – Written Exam (10:00 – 12:15 / 135 minutes)

  • Listening (25 Points)
  • Reading (30 Points)
  • Language Use (10 Points)
  • Writing (20 points)

o    June 5, 2026 – Speaking Exam (10:00 – 17:00)

  • Speaking (15 Points)
  • A 7-minute time slot will be allocated for each student.

  • We kindly ask students to pay attention to the following points.

Written Exam

o    Students must be present at the specified exam rooms by 9:30 on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the latest for the written part of the exam.

o    Students must bring a pencil, eraser, and pen for the exam.

  • Students must bring their Çankaya University ID Card and Turkish ID Card with them to take the exam.

Speaking Exam

o    For the speaking section of this exam, students must be present in the corridor where the exam room is located no later than 10 minutes before the time slot specified above on Friday, June 5, 2026.

  • Students must bring their Çankaya University ID Card and Turkish ID Card (or passport) with them to take the exam.
